All-day trip to view Pacific coast birds at Bodega Bay, a world-class birding hotspot. Harbor mudflats, ocean beach, and rocky headland for post-breeding seabird and shorebird migration–covering Bodega Bay, Harbor and Head, and Doran Beach.
Likely to be warm but could be windy (wear sunscreen and be prepared for wind chill with layers and hat). Easy walks and good bird photo opportunities around the harbor.
Departing from Davis at 6:30 am, a two-hour drive each way; we should be back no later than 6 pm.
